Merlin

After Bonsai's sad demise, we hand-picked Merlin at the Greenwich Rabbit Rescue and brought him home for a life of leisure in our lounge.

Merlin, like Bonsai, is a Dutch rabbit by breed. From time to time though, the white stripe across his shoulders is obscured and he looks just like a wild rabbit running up and down the stairs.

Merlin was just nine months old, a rabbit adolescent, when he came to join us and so is a lot livelier than Bonsai ever was. He's more confident in some ways too, spending less time skulking under dining table and more time trying to work out how to get underneath the television. He doesn't make the wonderful quacks and growls that Bonsai used to make though.

After a few months, Merlin became really quite attention seeking and we took that as a sign that he needed a companion.
